The Chairmanship candidate of labor Party (LP) in Gwagwalada Area council, Hon. Comrade Joshua Mamman, has pledged to focus on education, especially the primary education if
elected in the forthcoming 2026 FCT Area Councils’ election
Mamman, who is of the tNenadi Usman-led faction of the LP, also assured that if elected he would repair the dilapidated roads in
Gwagwalada and its environs, saying that the the road from Zuba to Yimi would be given a special attention.
He made the promise while speaking to Peoples Daily correspondent recently , in Zuba.
He further pointed out that if given the mandate he would
provide potable drinking water to the people of Anagada, Tugan-Maje
and Zuba among other communities within one hundred days in office.
He therefore called on the entire residents of Gwagwalada Area Council to vote
for the candidates of Labour Party in 2026 election, pointing out that
the problems facing the Party would be navigated or resolved
before the election proper.
Equally, he charged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to deem it necessary to conduct free and transparent election,
capable of satisfying the aspirations of Nigerians, instead of writing results in favour of the candidates of their choice.
Mamman, however, appealed to the candidates of the various political
parties in Gwagwalada to shun campaign of destruction during their electioneering campaigns in 2026 election.
He also warned stakeholders especially politicians and their supporters against using weapons during the election.
