The Plateau state chapter of Integrated Buhari Support Group (IBSG) has described President Muhammadu Buhari as a “shining light of the Jesus Christ”, saying that for now, the President was the only credible person that would take Nigeria into the promise land.
William Audu, who is the group’s coordinator in the state, made this known during an inauguration ceremony of Plateau south and central zone coordinators of the state chapter in Jos yesterday.
According to the group, “Buhari is corrupt-free, selfless, honest, trustworthy, transparent and credible and doesn’t have any skeleton in his cupboard.
“He is honest, he fears God, and he is committed, he is corruption free, and these are the virtues a Christian should have, he is shining the light of Christ, he encourages justice, fairness and selflessness, probity and patriotism.”
The added that, “The defeat against Boko Haram, the fight against corruption being pursued with vigor and dogged determination in tackling social ills would only be consolidated if Buhari continue as the president.”
It further expressed readiness and commitment to support the president’s re-electing come 2019.
The group therefore called on the President to seek for re-election in the 2019 election to enable him complete the good works he had started.
