2019: Group canvases support for Senator Kwankwaso

Group under the Kwankwasiyya Nigeria Movement at the weekend urged Nigerians to elect former Kano State Governor, Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, as Nigeria’s President come 2019.
The group believed the former governor who is also the serving Senator Representing Kano Central at the National Assembly is the solution to Nigeria’s economic and social problems.
Addressing supporters of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Kaduna State Chapter Coordinator, Ahmed Aliyu Idris urged Nigerians irrespective of their religious affiliations to support and give Engineer Kwankwaso the chance to govern this country.
According to him, as a Governor, Engineer Kwankwaso improved economic standard of Kano State and equally served his people diligently with justice and fairness.
“We see him as the solution to the economic situation of this country; He is a man full of patriotism, a man that believe in the unity of this country. Engineer Kwankwaso is a leader that Nigerians have been waiting for because his past antecedents Speaks for him,” he said.
The state Coordinator further assured the crowd of their readiness to support the movement to achieve its goals.
Another speaker at the event Hajiya Aishatu Umar Mahuta, called for unity among the supporters of the movement. She added that without unity, it will be difficult to make progress.
In his remarks, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso representative at the event, Alhaji Habibu Hassan El-Yakub, assured the crowd and loyalists of the movement of the Senator’s support for them.
He thanked Kaduna State supporters of Senator Kwankwaso presidential ambition under the umbrella of Kwankwasiyya Nigeria Kaduna chapter for believing in Senator Kwankwaso ideology and for coming out in mass to show where their loyalty belongs.
“We take Kaduna serious because they are the centre of Northern Nigeria. We are happy to see people of different race and religion showing their loves to our beloved leader and President come 2019 God willing,” he said.
It was gathered that loyalists of the movement in attendance comprised of some from Kogi State, Southern Kaduna and other local government areas of the state.
