2019: NNPP challenges INEC on free, fair credible election

New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to caution Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and all security agencies in the country to ensure free, fair and credible 2019 election.
The Bauchi State chairman of NNPP, Engineer Mohammed Barde made the call
while speaking with reporters in Bauchi. He said it become necessary for President Buhari to act now to curb any attempt in jeopardizing 2019 election by INEC and security agencies.
He said, “What Nigerians witness in Ekiti, Osun and Bauchi States bye elections were not elections but a clear manipulation by the electoral body and security agencies; as such, we will not accept the repeat of such illegality in 2019 election.”
The chairman said lack of confidence by the stake holders to get credible, free and fair election were major constraints of the ruling party that resulted in Atiku, Senators, Reps members’ defection to the opposition party ahead of next year election.
Barde said that APC bear all trademark of electoral frauds and irregularities in reflection of its failed Congresses in most States of Nigeria
He asked Bauchi voters support to vote out APC government in the forth coming election for not fulfilling their campaign promises.
