As hostilities for the 2021/2022 Nigeria Women Football League NWFL draw closer, Edo Queens Friday unveiled Wemimo Olarenwaju Matthew as their new Manager.
The unveiling which happened years after the former defender left the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium as a player.
The former Sunshine Queens Coach who said she understood the demands at the club and its ambition, said his primary focus is to get started and achieve the desired targets
“I am here to work hard and bring further success to the club and I can’t wait to get started.
“Everyone knows how ambitious this club is and how much they want to be successful. I am optimistic that with time, we will achieve our aim,” she said.
The unveiling was done in the presence of Edo State Deputy Governor, Comrade Philip Shuaibu.
