The Presidential Candidate of the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has said that he has enough political experience to address the security challenges currently bedeviling the country.
This was even as he said that, his restructuring agenda for Nigeria if he wins the presidential elections will strengthen the unity and economic development of the nation.
Atiku who spoke in Kaduna on Saturday at the Arewa Joint Committee Interactive session with 2023 Presidential Candidates at the Arewa House, therefore appealed to Nigerians to give him opportunity to bring his wealth of experience to bare and provide good governance for the country and appealed to all Northerners in particular to key into his agenda to rebuild and lead the Nation into an era of economic development and Progress, while saying that there is nothing to fear about restructuring of the country.
Atiku argued that, it would be a mirage to build economic prosperity in the country without unity and national security, adding that, his blueprint for the country will “re-affirm the criticality of private sectors leadership and greater private sectors participation in development; while repositioning the Public’ sectors to Focus on its core responsibility of facilitation and enabling the appropriate legal and regulatory framework for rapid economic development”.
