The Central Bank of Nigeria,CBN, Governor Godwin Emefiele has been called upon to as a matter of national interest and unity of the country join the presidential race come 2023 elections.
A political group nicknamed ‘Unified Northern Forum for MEFFY 2023’ made the call in Yola Wednesday at a press conference stressing that the call became imperative in view of the need for fairness and balance among Nigeria’s major ethnic nationalities.
Spokesman of the group,Aliyu Muhammad Sani announced that as an independent minded group Emefiele’s contributions toward the development of economy of the country attracted the attention of the majority of Northern group to settle for his choice.
