The stakeholders of the people’s Democratic Party(PDP) of Madagali local government Area in Adamawa state have described the recent defection of one of its own and former Chairman of Madagali council,Hon. Chibado Babbi Tijjani as an exercise in futility.
Chibado recently announced his defection from PDP to the All Progressives Congress,APC over alleged maltreatment.
Spokesman of the stakeholders, Abdu Umaru Jabu made the position known at a press conference held in Yola Yesterday stressing that it is on record that Chibado has seized to be an active member of PDP since 2014 and has not been active in the party’s activities.
Jabu who doubles as the Madagali ward Chairman of PDP, berated Chibado explaining that “We have never regarded him as a full blown member of the party because he contributed nothing to the growth and development of the party in Madagali.”
