2024 budget: gov Yahaya meets stakeholders in Gombe

Gombe state governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya who was represented by the Secretary to the state government, Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi yesterday met with relevant stakeholders in Gombe to delibrate on need for 2024 budget proposal.
The meeting which was held at the international hotel conference hall in Gombe was aimed at meeting the stakeholders to share their experiences regarding the budget proposal that was passed last year and to bring new ammenment this year.
He said government is aware of vigorous challenges facing the people and are planning to improve its budgetary allocation to suit their needs.
According to him, strategic areas that government put upon to address the issue are the Health sector, Agriculture, Education among others.
Governor Yahaya also revealed that the meeting between Gombe state government and the stakeholders is an annual event where government invite them to share their experiences before submitting its budget proposal to the house of assembly.
