Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has asked its Zonal and State Publicity Secretaries to educate Nigerians on government’s achievements.

Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga gave the charge on Friday in Abuja at a capacity building seminar for APC Zonal and State Publicity Secretaries, this is as he added that the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu-led administration is not just a slogan but already in effect.

Onanuga further stated that due to the effect of the Renewed Hope Agenda, many investors both domestic and foreign have started showing interest and already investing in all sectors of the nation’s economy.

“We need to leverage more, especially at the grassroots and to share to our people what this government is doing to improve the lots of Nigerians.

“Our Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a slogan, it is real and becoming a reality.

“Under the present government, the economy is picking up and a lot of confidence had been built on the administration,” Onanuga said.

According to Onanuga, the Tinubu-led administration was leaving no stone unturned in its quest to boost the economy and make life more meaningful for every Nigerian.

He said despite the fact that the the administration inherited a dead economy, it haa already achieved a lot in agriculture, the solid mineral and other economy sectors.

In his remarks, Acting National Chairman of the APC, Alhaji Ali Dalori, charged the party’s spokesmen to go forth and preach the Renewed Hope Agenda with renewed energy.

Dalori charged the party’s image makers across the states to educate the public on what President Tinubu had done in easing the suffering of Nigerians by accelerating the country’s economic progress.

Also speaking at the seminar, the party’s National Secretary, Sen. Ajibola Bashiru expressed gratitude to President Tinubu’s media team and that of the APC for organizing the seminar, saying it was coming at the right time.

Bashiru noted that the seminar would bring the party’s secretaries up to speed with informed opinion of what the government had achieved to enable them to similarly communicate same to Nigerians.

“We must focus our communication on what we are doing in the economy and how well the economy is doing under this government.

“We must also show that despite the dooms day predictions, the naira is doing well internationally,” he added.

Earlier in his welcome remarks, the National Publicity Secretary (NPS) of the APC, Mr. Felix Morka, urged the Zonal and State Publicity Secretaries to continue educating Nigerians on government’s achievements and their positive impacts on the people.

The one day seminar was attended by some APC stakeholders and spokesmen from across the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
