An aspirant for the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency seat, Sarah Ivie Adidi, has intensified consultations within the All Progressives Congress (APC), meeting with party leaders in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as part of her build-up to the 2027 general elections.
During a visit to the FCT APC Chairman, Tanko Ishaku Yamawo, in Abuja, Adidi outlined a grassroots-focused agenda aimed at addressing key socio-economic challenges facing residents of the constituency.
She said her vision centres on youth empowerment, job creation, skills development, improved access to quality education and healthcare, as well as tackling infrastructural deficits across communities in the territory.
According to the aspirant, her ambition is driven by the need to strengthen representation and close the disconnect between elected officials and the people at the grassroots.
Adidi emphasised that her campaign would prioritise inclusive governance, active community engagement and sustainable development, noting that critical issues such as unemployment, poor infrastructure and limited access to basic services must be urgently addressed.
She added that her engagement with party leadership forms part of efforts to align her aspirations with the APC’s broader objectives and foster unity within the party ahead of the primaries.
Responding, Yamawo urged the aspirant to maintain continuous interaction with party stakeholders at all levels, stressing the importance of loyalty to party ideals and issue-based campaigns.
He also assured that the party would provide a fair and level playing ground for all aspirants seeking its ticket.
Adidi had earlier declared her intention to contest the seat at Dutse Alhaji ward, where she presented her development blueprint to constituents, reiterating her commitment to responsive representation and improved living standards for residents of AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency.
