2027: Group scales up sensitisation to boost PVC collection in Abuja

A progressive political coalition has kicked off a massive, multi-community expansion of its voter awareness campaign, scaling up grassroots sensitization efforts to significantly boost Permanent Voter Card (PVC) collection rates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The scaled-up drive, launched by the C.G. Musa Group 4 PBAT 2027, relies on a high-impact partnership model that embeds voter education directly within local traditional institutions, beginning with a heavily attended civic rally in the Jiwa Chiefdom, in Abuja.

To rapidly scale the campaign across, Abuja,the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)and beyond, organizers are leveraging Abuja’s ancient traditional institutions as the primary engines for civic mobilization.

It was gathered that the strategy focuses on equipping local leaders first to eliminate misinformation and bridge communication gaps between the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and everyday citizens.

To transform community chiefs, elders, and youth leaders into authoritative civic educators, the group established a highly scalable network.

The group explained that these trained local custodians are now actively guiding residents through the step-by-step processes of verifying individual voter registration status, locating neighborhood and local government collection centers, and navigating updated INEC guidelines efficiently.

According to the group, the initial rollout in Jiwa Chiefdom yielded an immediate surge in engagement, drawing a massive turnout of women and youth groups—demographics that local leaders emphasize are critical to anchoring sustainable community development.

It added that beyond the logistical rollout, the scaled-up sensitization drive carries a distinct message centered on political stability and long-term national growth.

Representatives at the rallies have urged residents to view the PVC not merely as a piece of plastic, but as a direct instrument to shape Nigeria’s economic and governance trajectory.

Addressing the gathering, Blessing Moses, the Director of Mobilization for C.G. Musa Group 4 PBAT 2027, described the intensified collection drive as a vital civic duty tied directly to future progress.

“Your Permanent Voter Card is your power to secure Nigeria’s future.

“Collecting your PVC is the ultimate civic duty, and using it to ensure the continuity of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is how we guarantee lasting progress,” Moses stated.

Moses argued that meaningful national transformation requires patience and policy consistency, asserting that the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda is already laying down the necessary foundation for long-term economic stability.

With the Jiwa Chiefdom launch proving the efficacy of the strategy, the coalition is now aggressively expanding its operations.

Leadership within the C.G. Musa Group 4 PBAT 2027 National Secretariat, confirmed that blueprints are finalized to replicate this traditional-structure-led sensitization model across all remaining chiefdoms, area councils, and wards.

By placing respected local custodians at the forefront of this escalated awareness campaign, the coalition aims to ensure that no community is left behind or disenfranchised in the lead-up to the 2027 polls.
