2027: We’ve had enough of Tinubu, ADC only viable opposition in Nigeria – Kenneth Okonkwo

By Musa Baba Adamu

A former spokesperson to Peter Obi during the 2023 presidential election, Kenneth Okonkwo, has declared that Nigerians have had enough of President Bola Tinubu.
Okonkwo, also a lawyer and a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, (ADC), said Tinubu must go in 2027.
Posting on X, he wrote, “We’ve had enough! Tinubu has to go in 2027. God helps those who help themselves. Happy Sunday, and God bless.”
Okonkwo also declared that ADC is the only viable opposition party for the 2027 election.
He faulted Senate President Godswill Akpabio for allegedly harassing Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe for joining ADC after he was expelled by the All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA).
“ADC is the leading and only viable opposition party for the 2027 election.
“Senator Godswill Akpabio defected from PDP to APC, citing expulsion from his party PDP. He presented the evidence of his expulsion to the Federal High Court presided by Justice Okon Abang who held that when your party expels you, it will not affect your seat, and you are free to join another party.
“It’s shameful that the same Akpabio is harassing Senator Abaribe for joining ADC when he was expelled by his party, APGA.
“Moreover, Hon Alex Mascot Ikwechegh defected from APGA to APC and received the applause of the APC legislators. Dubious double standards,” Okonkwo added.
