Kaduna state Coordinator of National Identity Management Commission, Abubakar Hussain Muhammed has said over two million students have enrolled for registration within three months in the state.
He disclosed this while speaking to the media in Kaduna yesterday.
According to him, the commission registers over five thousand students daily due to recent policy of the United Tertiary Matriculation Examination that every student must have a National Identification Number.
He appealed to students to visit the center for registration not only during examinations, because it is a daily exercise.
The coordinator also urged the students and civil servants to visit their centers at military barracks, banks, traditional leaders houses and local government secretariats for registration.
Muhammed explained that over seventy centers were commissioned at the twenty three local governments areas of Kaduna State.
