Stakeholders have urged 323 graduate entrepreneurs in Edo State to shun reckless borrowing and adopt a unique marketing and networking strategies, which are recipe for climbing business ladder.
The three batches of graduands, comprised of 138 male and 185 female including 30 returnees.
They were trained by a non-governmental Organization, Society for the Empowerment of Young Persons (SEYP) in partnership with GOPA worldwide Consultants, Deutsche Geselischaft fur Internationale Zusammearbeit (GIZ) and Edo State government.
Addressing the graduands on Wednesday at Edo Production Centre in Benin City Mrs. Jennifer Ero, executive Director of SEYP, urged young Nigerians to acquire skills in order to navigate in business access to market opportunities out of the side walk.
According to her, “Entrepreneurial skill is the way to go. Knowledge is power. It is not enough to have money to start a business. But you need entrepreneurial skills to navigate in business and access to market.
