3rd National Para Games: Kwara Sports Commission meets stakeholders

The Kwara State Sports Commission has held a crucial stakeholders’ meeting as part of preparations for the forthcoming 3rd Edition of the National Para Games holding from 26th March to 3rd April in Abuja.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for coaches to officially submit the list of athletes who will represent the state at the national event.

Speaking at the meeting, the Executive Chairman, Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa expressed optimism ahead of the upcoming festival.

Adisa commended the commitment of the coaches and technical officials in identifying and preparing athletes who will proudly represent Kwara State on the national stage.

He urged all officials, coaches, and athletes to remain steadfast, focused, and fully prepared for the competition.

According to Adisa, adequate preparation, discipline, and teamwork will be key factors in achieving outstanding results during the festival.

The Chairman emphasised that the athletes’ performance at the games will not only bring pride to the athletes themselves but also reflect positively on the efforts of the Sports Commission and its leadership.

He reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to supporting para-athletes and ensuring they receive the necessary encouragement and opportunities to excel in their respective sports events.

The Kwara State contingent is expected to intensify preparations as the state looks forward to making a strong impression at the 3rd National Para Games which will bring together para-athletes from across the country.
