88-taekwondo graduates from Korean Cultural Centre Abuja

Korean Cultural Centre Abuja has graduated 88 school pupils from the beginner class to the next level in the Korean Marsha art sports.
The pupils graduated in different fields, including the beginner’s class and under-8 colour.
Speaking to newsmen on the sideline of the graduation ceremony held at Korean Cultural Centre’s theatre hall in River House in Abuja, one of the leading instructor, Samuel Akande, said all the 88 pupils that participated in a season long drill exercise completed their training and will move to the third quarter of the training exercise while 45 of them will graduate to the next level.
While congratulating the participants, Akande said apart from the regular season training exercise, the KCC also organise summer training for primary and secondary school students during holiday in taekwondo classes as part of its regular activities to strengthen the bilateral ties between Nigeria and Republic of Korea.
Three out of the graduating pupils, Chizea Awele Chisom, Timothy O. Adelekan and Mayo Joyce Elahor were adjourned as the best graduating students and awarded excellent awards, while Benazir Rabeea Ibrahim, Oluwadunbarin Harrison-Oloye, Toluwalashe Harrison-Oloye Chizea Adaogu Chinonyelum, Sonari Douglas and Ian Oni recieved commandation award for their outstanding performance.
According to Akande, the essence of the KCC inside house training is to groom young taekwando talents that will represent Nigeria nearest future at the Olympic Games and other international meets.
KCC has over the years groomed young talents who had represented their teams in various continental and national programmes with an eye for more international exposure and achievements in the future.
