He said the visit was part of the objective of the foundation to identify with the indigents and those who have suffered some form of displacement as a result of insurgency.
According to him, the foundation has targeted people at the lowest rung of the ladder, in order to empower them, because of their vulnerable nature.
“Aside the food, we donate to you, we are taking inventory of your other needs, especially the youths here.
“We are going to empower the youths in the camp through skills acquisition and vocations to enable them fend for themselves.
“For those who already have vocations but were dislodged from their places of work as a result of restiveness, we will provide you with the tools and materials you need to continue your work.
“And, for those who want to go to school, we will work out on how we can get you back to school.
“It is part of what the foundation is doing in line with its vision of engaging, enlightening and empowering the youths,” he stressed.
Responding, the Secretary of the IDP camp, Bala Yusuf, who spoke on behalf of the Chairman, Ibrahim Ahmudu, expressed their joy at such generous gesture from the foundation, emphasizing that the donation ranks one of the highest, so far received at the camp from a single organization.
“We thank you for identifying with us with these gifts. We have 12 different units in this camp.
