2019: No Automatic ticket for anybody in Jigawa – APC Chair

The Jigawa State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) reiterated that the party will not impose anybody on its members as candidate at all levels.
The state party chairman Alhaji Ado Sani Kiri reiterated the party’s position on free and fair participation by all candidates while speaking to news men in Dutse, the state capital.
Kiri, who insisted that APC is the only political party in Nigeria that is exercising a real democracy said: “We will allow our members decide who will lead them at all political office of contest.
“I want to assure you that no automatic tickets in APC for anybody, at any position, in the forthcoming 2019 general election in Jigawa State.”
The party chairman maintained that imposing unpopular candidate is a gross abuse of democratic tenant, promising to do his best to avoid such.
He said the party is for all; and any decision must be taken together, right from the ward level up to the state level. This is, according to him, the only way to maintained success in the state.
He assured members that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is intact in the state; and all party members are ready to support and sacrifice for better development.
Kiri then urged the people in the state, to continue supporting the APC administration for a better Jigawa State.
