The Zamfara State Coalition of Youth for Good Governance has heralded aggressive plans against the gubernatorial ambition being politically flashed by Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa representing Zamfara central come 2019.
This is contained in a statement by the Chairman and Secretary of the group, Mohammad Hamisu and Garba Nasiru Mohammad respectively, shortly after a meeting held yesterday by the representatives of the group from the 14 local governments of the state.
According to the statement, “The recent accusation in a motion presented before the House of Senate linking governor Abdulaziz Yari with armed banditry by the embattled Senator has clearly indicated desperation of him to be the next governor which, could not by indicting the good people who mean well to the state”.
The group further challenged that, the embattled Senator who allegedly is yet to facilitate any development project under constitutionally-curved Constituency projects, should avoid playing dirty politics capable of swearing the good images of the esteemed elder statemen and the patriotic leaders.
“We are unanimously suggesting that, the House of Senate should sermon Senator Garba Marafa to competently prove his allegations against governor Abdulaziz Yari, his deputy, Malam Ibrahim Wakkala and the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Kenneth Ebrimson.
“The group would have no any other option than to mobilize recalling back the embattled Senator should he fail to to prove his crime-link allegation of the said personalities leading the legitimate affairs of the state”, the statement has threatened.
