Amaju deports NFF secretariat staffers from Morocco before final

Date:

In what appeared to be the most ridiculous order to humanity, the entire Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) staffers were plunged into serious embarrassment as a senior staff of the federation was deported from the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations Championship in Morocco by no other person but the President of the federation, Mr. Amaju Pinnick.
The affected NFF staffers who were stranded alongside board members from the southern part of the country spent just two days in Morocco
We Reliably gathered that Pinnick claimed to have acted on the instructions of the Minister of Youth and Sports Barrister Solomon Dalung on the basis of no money syndrome.
It will be recalled that, www.gongnews.net last week reported that while many NFF board members from the northern part of the country at the ongoing African Cup of Nation championship CHAN were doing merriment in Morocco, their counterparts from the South were stranded in Lagos on the instructions of the Amaju.
Commenting on the decision of the President, one of the victims said: “Amaju’s action has clearly demonstrated that his hatred for the staff and southern the constituency he came from.
The whole NFF secretariat staffers were deported back home. It included from Assistant Secretary General to Director of Communications amongst other.
Affected staff includes: NFF Assistant Secretary General, Dr Emmanuel Ikpeme; Head of protocol Tunde Aderibigbe; Director of Communications Ademola Olajire, Director of Competition Mr Bola Oyeyode while S. A media to Amaju Callistus Ebare were all sent packing prematurely from the competition.
One of NFF staffer who spoke but doesn’t want his name in the print postulated: “this is the ridicule of highest order. I have never experienced this kind of shame before. it has never happened since 1945, no president has ever done this to his secretariat staff.
“It came as rude shock to federation that all their staffers were asked to leave Morocco unexpectedly, it’s a slap on the federation’s secretariat.”
