A pressure group known as “Urhobo Rebirth Congress” Alias Udu Urhobo” has appealed to Nigerians to take up the issues of security in the country to God who alone can save its citizens.
The President General of the group, Comrade Stephen Ogheneochuko who spoke to journalists in Asaba on Monday explained that Nigerians were better secured if they can watch and pray to God for protection, which alone can protect them but not the security operatives which were equally helpless.
He appealed to men of God, and clergies to advise their congregation to pray earnestly for peace and security, and to stop complaining,
explaining that no police or army can guarantee security and peace any more in the country, but God only, and therefore we should pray and fast for the land for peace to reign supreme.
Comrade Ogheneochuku stressed further that it is only God that ensures there is peace, adding that man willing without God, would be doing that in vain, and appealed to Nigerians to allow President Muhammadu Buhari to run the country for a second tenure.
The Urhobo rebirth congress president remarked that the youths should go to the grassroots by covering the 774 local government areas when the time for them to take over 2023 but not to play Abuja politics.
