A senatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Zakari Angulu Dobi, has called on Abuja residents to support President Muhammadu Buhari for his re-election in 2019 general elections.
He said if Buhari was elected for the second term in office, he would implement good polices and programmes in place that will move the nation to the next level.
Dobi, who is a serving member of the House of Representatives at the National Assembly representing Abuja South constituency, spoke with newsmen after a consultative meeting with delegates in Kwali.
He pleaded with APC stakeholders as well as the members to remain united for the progress of the party in 2019 elections in the territory, advising the inhabitants of Abuja to remain focused in the affairs of the party.
He said if given the mandate as the senator representing the FCT in 2019, he would focus on the education, agriculture and portable drinking water.
The lawmaker, however, added that if elected he would work hand in hand with the FCT Minister to ensure that projects were assigned properly to the Area Councils in the territory.
