Date:

The Magistrates’ C ourt in Ningi has fixed the 5th of March 2014 for ruling in a suit filed by an aide to the Deputy Senate leader, Abdul Ahmed Ningi and a staff of the EFCC, Isma’ila Mohammed Tanko Ningi.

It would be recalled that the Senator’s aide, Usman Sule earlier filed criminal trespass charges against Isma’ila Mohammed, the EFCC staff alleging that he bought a disputed land on behalf of the Senator from one Alhaji Hamza Kailani Usman at the cost of N9 million, but Isma’ila together with his brother, Musa Togo started moulding blocks on the land without permission.

The case has lingered in court for over a year and when it was mentioned Wednesday, the applicants were absent in court.
