The Northern Christian community through their umbrella body ” Arewa Christians and Indigenous Pastors Association”
(ACIPA) has protested the continuous neglects and marginalisation by the Nigeriàn Authority when there’s appointment allotted to the region.
Chairmàn of ACIPA, Rev. Luke Shehu make this know to journalist during the Orgànisation peaceful protest on Sunday in Abuja.
” Ladies and Gentlemen we are here to tell the world how Northern Christians has been push to thec background when it comes to appointment that supposed to be for the region and we are tired of this, of recent is the appointment of permanent Secretary from Gombe State where the Christian Director Mr. Yilwa Joseph Molambore was qualify for the Exàm, he sat for the Exàm and has the highest scores but was not pick as permanent Secretary instead another person with lower score was pick because of religious affiliation”.
The group call on President Tinubu to correct this, inbalànce and injustices melted to Christians in Northern Nigerià,
this is not the first time but a re- occurring matter.
The Orgànisation also use the opportunity to inform the public on what the Northern Christians are going through including the killing of Christians in the region and other forms of intimidation they pass through on daily basis.
According to Shehu our God-given inheritance is threatening in accordance to the constitution they should be religious rights of worship but the non state actors parading themselves as herdsmen and their collaborators are terrorizing us and taken over our ancestral land. Shehu Added
