As Allah (SWT) reminds us in the Glorious Qur’an:“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain that sprouts seven ears; in every ear there are a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies for whom He wills.” (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:261) Indeed, the beauty of Waqf lies in its everlasting reward a form of Ṣadaqah Jāriyah that continues to benefit both the giver and the community. It is therefore our collective duty to revive and strengthen this noble practice, especially in our contemporary context where the need for sustainable Islamic financing and social welfare structures has become more pressing than ever.
