NMA offers free medical treatment to 4,000 people in Kebbi

The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Kebbi State branch In conjunction with the State SURE Trust Fund have conducted a three-day free medical treatment to about 4, 000 people in Zuru Emirate Council of the state.

The Chairman of the State branch of the association, Dr. Umar Garba Kangiwa told news men in Zuru that the excercise was part of the association’s efforts to improve the health of people living in rural areas.

In his remarks, the state Chairman of the SURE Trust Fund, Senator Abubakar Na, amo Abdullahi said they found it necessary to partner with NMA to help the less privileged ones and promoting health care services.

Abdullahi also reiterated the commitment of his agency to continue to partner with NMA to improve the health care delivery services in the state.

Also in his remark, the Emir of Zuru, Alhaji Muhammadu Sani Sami Gomo II expressed satisfaction over the free medical treatment offered to his people across the Emirate describing the gesture as a welcome development which will greatly assist the people.
