We’ll continue to patronize local contractors, says Gov Bagudu

Kebbi State Government would continue to patronises local contractors who are giving the state government good, quality and durable jobs according to specifications, Governor Atiku Abubakar Bagudu has said.
Governor Bagudu who stated this while commissioning some road projects in Kalgo town and its adjourning settlements when his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC took its campaigned train to Kalgo town, the Headquarters of Kalgo local government area of the state, said the project will boost the socio-economy of the area, as well as enhancing free flows of market goods via transportation in and outside the State.
He commended the effort of an indigenous contractor, the ZBBC Nig. Ltd. that handled the project for good job well done by meeting the required specification and stipulated time, urging other local contractors in the state to emulate ZBBC Nig. Ltd.
“Kalgo is a town with an international market standard where people from neighbouring countries like Niger and Benin Republics attended. Therefore, kalgo township road are necessary for construction for easy transporting of farm produce and other businesses.” He added
Responding, the Managing Director of ZBBC Nig Ltd, Alhaji Hussein Adamu thanked the governor for supporting indigenous contractors in the state assuring him of doing more quality jobs whenever, opportunity permits. Adding that, the governor has given the people of the town a facelift in which kalgo people showed more commitments and support for the success of the project.
