Court remands 3 for criminal conspiracy, theft in Kaduna

A Chief Magistrate Court 1 sitting in Chediya GRA Zaria Kaduna has remanded three people Ibrahim Bala, Niyi Alhassan and Abdullahi Rabi’u in prison custody until 27th September 2019 for criminal conspiracy, theft and receiving stolen properties which is contrary to section 59,332,217,393 Kaduna State Penal code law of 2017.
The Chief Magistrate Abubakar Aliyu Lamido gave order after hearing charges level against them by the prosecutor, Inspector Mannir Nasir.
The first defendant, Ibrahim Bala denied committing any offence, while the 2nd and 3rd dependants Niyi Alhassan and Abdullahi Rabi’u admitted committing the offence.
The Chief Magistrate fixed 27th September, 2019 for hearing of 1st defendant Ibrahim Bala who denied committing any offence.
2And the remaining two defendants, Niyi Alhassan and Abdullahi Rabi’u will face summary trial under sec 125 sub sec 8 of the administration of criminal Justice law of Kaduna State 2017 as applied by the Prosecution.
