Like Aminu Kano like Sale Mamman

He who abandoned a house, the house will equally abandon him.This is the best description for Eng. Sale Mamman, minister of power. Before his appointment as a minister of the federal republic by president Muhammadu Buhari, Eng Sale Mamman remained resolute in a his political life in Taraba state.
In most of his political career he refused to be bent, twisted or manipulated by various political heavy weights in the state. One major sterling qualities of Sale Mamman is his detest for money bag politics. His politics is ideological not artificial. He’s an ideologue inductrinaire. He’s more of late Mallam Aminu Kano’s political student.
This is a politician who remained focus politically. Despite all the entreaties to hoodwink him to move to other political parties, the man said no!
He’s never thought of being a political butterfly. Alhaji Sale instead of depending on political bigwig in the state for living decided to run his private business to earn a living.

For the people of Taraba, the appointment of Eng Sale as a minister is a “dream come true” because the state has never got a grassroot politician before until now.
Born in Lau on 2nd January, 1958, Eng. Sale lived most part of his life in Jalingo, the state capital. He went to the prestigious Kaduna polytechnic where he obtained his Higher National Diploma HND in 1988 and MBA from Bayero University, BUK, Kano. The minister started his career as a teacher in Technical School Mubi, Adamawa state before transferring his service to taraba state when it was created in 1992.
He rose to the rank of Assistant Director in the state ministry of works before retiring in 2002.
Eng. Sale is truly a political icon in Taraba.
