Niger State governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has described the Nigeria media as a critical stakeholder in the country democratic journey, saying that the role of the media can make or mar the entire process hence the need for better working relationship.
Governor Belli expressed the desire of his administration to partner with the media in the state in other to project the good work of his administration.
He said this in Minna during an interactive session with media stakeholders in the state.
Represented at the round table interactive session organized by the office of the Chief Press Secretary by the Secretary to the Niger State Government, Alh. Ahmed Ibrahim Matane said his administration recognized the role and sacrifices of the media in achieving the current democracy in the country.
Earlier In her remarks, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mrs Mary Noel Berje said the idea behind the round table interactive session was to chart a new course and to strengthen the existing relationship between the media and the government.
