The State Chief Judge, Justice Marshal Umukoro, will on Monday October, 28 to Tuesday November, 26, 2019 commence inspection of Federal Prison formations in the state.
A statement by the Head of Protocol/Public Relations, High Court of Justice, Asaba, says the Chief Judge will begin the visits with Federal Prison Warri on Monday, October 28 to Wednesday, October 30, 2019 while that of Sapele Federal Prison and Remand Home will be on Monday November 11, 2019.
Similarly, Justice Umukoro will be at Kwale Prison on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 even as Agbor Prison shall take its turn on Wednesday, November 13, 2019.
It further added that the Chief Judge will round off the prisons tour at Ogwashi-Uku on Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 of November, 2019.
The statement, therefore, enjoined officials of the respective prisons, Judiciary, the Police, members of the Nigerian Bar Association and relevant stakeholders in the administration of criminal justice, to be punctual and seated at 10 am each day for the exercise.
