Kaduna District Chairman of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Special Apostle Pastor Elijah Atolagbe has said some wealthy Nigerians are responsible for the poverty ravaging the country in order to enslave the poor .
He stated this after his investiture and installation as the district chairman at a service held in Kaduna yesterday.
According to him, the privileged wealthy have stolen the resources of the nation to become super rich and make the poor supper poor.
He said that the scenario is taking dangerous trend as they are now breeding their children to continue the enslavement.
“ I was speaking to one of the rich men recently, he told me that no rich man in Nigeria wishes the poor to be rich because they don’t want to lose the control they have on them.
“He said who will serve us who are we going to use for our agenda and who will see use as little gods if everyone is Rich
“So as for me it is better they remain poor so that we can continue to control them,” he told me
Special Apostle Pastor Elijah Atolagbe, however, said the wealthy are setting a dangerous precedent which will have effect on them.
He explained that the general insecurity in the country is because of the corruption perpetrated by the Rich
He said in as much as the children of the poor are out of school and no job for them to earn a living then the children of the rich cannot go to sleep with their two eyes closed.
In his sermons Rev. Titus Ade Martin’s said the blood bath in the country will soon be history as God have taken over the situation
He, however, asked Nigerians to submit themselves to God and resist the devil.
