The Delta State Police Command on Thursday confirmed that it has arrested a teenager over alleged death of his friend in Ughelli town
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Hafiz Muhammed Inuwah who confirmed this to journalists in Asaba on Thursday, said that the 13- year old suspect, Identified as Previous life was alleged to have stabbed his friend Marvelous Ekrake with a Knife on Saturday and took to his heels, adding that,”it’s true, the matter is before the Delta Police Command” .
A reliable source said that the suspect was apprehended with the assistance of his family members as according to the Source, the suspect had a scuffle with the deceased over the sharing of an amount of money they realized from a job in Ughelli on that fateful day
