Edo 2020: Ize-Iyamu, APC will be subdued by defeat – Shaibu

Deputy Governor of Edo State, Comrade Philip Shaibu has dismissed the boast by Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu that he will defeat the PDP, describing it as a joke of the century and saying that Ize -Iyamu lies with audacious impunity.
“Both Ize-Iyamu and the Party he is representing will be subdued by their own crisis and rejected by Edo Masses in the Main election. The emergence of Ize-Iyamu has given PDP peace because the victory of PDP is now landslide.”
According to him, “Ize-Iyamu is associated with political failure. He has never won an election in his life and can’t start talking about winning an election when the victory train has gone ahead of him.
“Ize-Iyamu has a dented integrity and he is coming from a political party without leadership. APC is in disarray and Edo State can’t afford to labour under a political party that has lost its good will with the masses. It’s in vain that both Ize-Iyamu and the APC are struggling to be elected.
“Comrade Shaibu in a Statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media Benjamin Atu said “Obaseki is not Corrupt. His detractors or traducers, even the rabid ones, have failed over the years to put any stain on the integrity of Governor Godwin Obaseki. This is not a parade of self righteousness but justified solid self confidence.
“Obaseki is an extra-ordinary Governor and can’t afford to lose sleep because of APC in the main election. He thanks members of the opposition for making the Victory of PDP easy by presenting Ize-Iyamu. With Ize-Iyamu as APC candidate, the victory of PDP is secured and settled,” Comrade Shaibu declared confidently.
