FG urged to take traditional medicine practitioners along

The Special Adviser to the leadership of the National Association of Nigeria Traditional Medicine Practitioners (NANTMP) FCT Chapter, Mr. Timothy Yakubu, has appealed to the Federal Government to carry the traditional medicine practitioners along in the affairs of things in the country.
He also urged the National Executive Council of NANTMP to deem it fit to partner with the Federal Government for the overall development of the association.
Yakubu, who made the appeal in an interview with Peoples Daily correspondent in Abuja on Monday, calling on the members of the association to work with the executives to arrest some pending issues affecting the association in the FCT and Nigeria at large.
He said he would continue to give the necessary advice to the officials of the association in the FCT to wage war against fake traditional medicine practitioners.
The NANTMP Special Adviser in the FCT Chapter, however warned the members against using fake traditional herbs to treat people.
