Niger stakeholders tell FG Insecurity, AEDC, bad roads are our challenges

The Niger state Stakeholders have again reminded the federal government to address the incessant bandit attacks, bad roads and inadequate electricity as the challenges bedevilling the people of the state.
The stakeholders include; Legislators, traditional rulers, youth organizations, women groups and religious leaders.
They made the presentation yesterday at the Government House in Minna during a critical stakeholders meeting at the instance of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubairu Dada.
In his contribution, the Chief Imam of Minna, Malam Ibrahim Fari stated that insecurity and lack of electricity are the major problems of Niger state.
He said that if the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) cannot provide adequate electricity in the state, they should leave and allow others who are willing to supply the state with electricity to operate in the state.
“We want AEDC to increase the supply of electricity in the state. We are not accepting anything less than 20 hours of electricity, if they cannot give us this, let them leave the state.”
