National Directorate of Employment (NDE), has commenced the training of no fewer than 500 unemployed youths consisting of both male and female in vocational skills acquisition across the 25 local governments of Niger state.
The NDE Director General Alhaji Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo represented by Mrs Jamila Suleiman of the Vocational Skills Development Department (VSD) headquarters, said it was in fulfilment of the mandate of the agency to engaged the youths in learning viable skills.
He said “this will enabled them to be self reliant rather than waiting for white color jobs not readily available for them.
He advised the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the opportunity provided to earn a living.
