Abuja CJTF sacks unit commanders

The General Commander of Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), a volunteer security organization in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ahmadu Musa, has sacked the Unit commanders of their responsibilities in order to pave the way for the smooth running of the organization.
He said the unit coordinators would be appointed among the sacked unit commanders.
Musa, who made the disclosure while speaking with Peoples Daily Correspondent in his Office on Saturday in Gwagwalada.
He said he would make sure that Unit coordinators would work hand in hand with him to move the CJTF to a greater height in the territory.
He appealed to Nigerian legislators to give the necessary support to the CJTF to actualize its dream for the nation.
He further pleaded with the government of the day to purchase patrol vehicles for the volunteer organization so as to wage war against criminals in the territory.
The CJTF Commander, however, advised members of the organization to continue to discharge their duties in accordance with the laid down rules and regulations guiding the CJTF.
