Covid-19 palliative: Gombe govt targets 50,000 house holds

Gombe state government has commenced its second phase distribution of COVID-19 palliatives with a view of reaching out to the vulnerable.
The state governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya while flagging off the second phase distribution of the palliatives at Dukku at the weekend said the distribution of the commodity can only benefit the vulnerable.
He said in 2021, his administration has supported 66,000 household with palliatives through the federal government.
Governor Yahaya assured that the distribution of the palliatives will reach out to all the 10 local government areas except that of Gombe local government area.
