Police arrest Suspected Kidnappers, armed robbers, recover stolen items in Delta

The Delta State Police Command on Thursday confirmed the arrest of suspected Kidnappers and armed robbers in Ozoro community among others, disclosing that the police recovered stolen items from the Suspects
. DSP Edafe Bright, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state in a statement signed a copy made available to our correspondent said that the police through the Divisional Police Officer ( DPO) Ozoro Police Division, CSP Ogedegbe Areguamen led Polic Officers with the assistance of some Vigilante members into the hideouts of the Suspects at Aradhe Community and arrested one Ogheghenefegor Francis, 28years of Aradhe Community, adding that the Suspect as the leader of the Six man gang who allegedly Kidnapped one Williams Aduewomah in Ozoro community Including four other gang members were arrested.
Saying that Investigation was ongoing, DSP Edafe Bright said that on the 20/4/ 2021 following intelligence gatherings, the Divisional Police Officer ( DPO) Warri, CSP TY Mahmud mobilized quick response team who trailed and arrested one Nnachi Cypriam one of the prime Suspects mentioned in a confessional statement of the gang leader of an armed robbery syndicate Including one Gift Famous, popularly known as Bubune earlier arrested by the police,was rearrested, adding that the Suspect Nnachi Cypriam hails from Afikpo In Ebony State as he was arrested at ShopRite in Warri in connection with series of car snaching at gunpoint. DSP Edafe Bright said that the Suspect confessed to the crime which he was arrested and also identified Bubune as being his friend and inmate in Oko prison in Benin City, adding that the Suspect further led the team of the police to Otokutu in the recovery of the snached vehicle with registration number FKJ 86 ET gold in colour which was fraudulently changed to black colour Including other items recovered from the Suspects
The statement also disclosed that the police at A Division in Asaba while on stop and search intercepted one Lezus 330 with number GWA 303 BF , adding that the Suspect on sighting the police, quickly turned the vehicle and tried to escape but was caught through the help of the police ASP Awosika Olabode and he was arrested as the Suspect was identified as Kenneth Edemba 52 years old, saying that one sactch of tramadol, among others were recovered from the Suspect in the vehicle.
