Adamawa govt to introduce climate resilient programme

In an effort to adopt measures in addressing the global climate change challenge, the Adamawa State Government has concluded arrangements to introduce climate resilient programme across the 21 Local Government Areas of the state.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Natural resources Development, Mr. Minas Ngangura disclosed the development at the 2021 World Environment day celebration in Yola, stressing that sensitisation of the public on the program would soon commence.
Mr.Ngangura said the environmental challenges especially the climate change is majorly caused by human activities, noting that the drive to bring cogent solutions to the problem is a collective responsibility.
