Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has approved the salaries of District and village heads who were grade levels 6 and 3 respectively.
Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Dasuki Jalo Waziri made this known on Friday when he met with District and village heads in his office.
He said the District heads who were grade level 6 are now promoted to grade level 12 while village heads who were grade level 3 are prompted to grade level 8.
