Sanwo-Olu reappoints Ayodele Subair to LIRS, names Christian, Muslim boards chairmen

Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has reappointed Ayodele Subair as Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) Chairman.

Now in his second and final tenure of five years, Subair was first appointed on September 1, 2016.

A statement by the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola also named chairmen and members of Lagos State Christian and Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards.

Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board: Rt. Rev. Babatunde Akinpelu-Johnson (Chairman); Mrs Yemisi Adeyemi; Bishop (Prof.) R. A. Oguntuase; Mr. Ademola Adeosun; Abiodun Naz-Musa.

Adeyinka Odugbade would be serving a second term, having served with the immediate past board.

Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board; Engr. Shakir Ayinde Gafar (Chairman); Fausat Dabiri; Alhaji Yusuf Ara; Dr. Abdul Kadir Paramole; Hon. Lola Shonibare and Alhaji Mojeed Sanni.

They will serve for a renewable period of three years as provided in the extant laws with the exception of Odugbade.

Sanwo-Olu also approved a tenure extension for the Special Committee on Rehabilitation of Public Schools (SCRPS).

The Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) was resuscitated by his administration for rapid rehabilitation of Public Primary and Secondary Schools in Lagos.

The Chairman, Hakeem Smith, a Quantity Surveyor and ex-Chairman, Association of Consulting Surveyors of Nigeria, was re-assigned along with other committee members.

They are Babatunde Ishola Raj-Label; Engr. Yetunde Holloway; Arc. Adebanjo Olusegun Adedaramola and Mrs. Gbemisola Khadijah Legunsen (Board Secretary).
