Shiroro and Rafi Local Government Areas of Niger State have imposed curfew to check the activities of bandits in the two councils.
The councils in their separate statements, said the curfew which will last from 10 o’clock in the evening to five o’clock in the morning, will cover Gwada and Zumba Communities.
Similarly, a 24 hours curfew has been imposed in Kagara town following an intelligent report about infiltration of armed bandits’ movement towards Kagara town in Rafi Local Government.
Terrorists have continued to unleash deadly attacks on the communities, killing innocent souls, kidnapping, raping women and stealing property worth millions of naira.
The security forces imposed the curfew to curtail the movement bandits into the town.
The councils however solicited for prayers from well-meaning Nigerians, saying terrorists have taken over the entire hills and mountains in the area.
