HydroPower Producing Areas Development Commission, HYPPADEC, has begun a 5 day training for accountants, finance, procurement and auditors to enhanced their productivity and service delivery.
The Managing Director, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa made the disclosure at a 5 Day Capacity Building on Implementation of IPSAS for the Accountants, Auditors, Procurement Officers and Store Officers in collaboration with the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation in Minna.
He described the finance and accounting departments as the life wire and engine room of an organization whoch deserved to be updated in knowledge of financial compliance.
The Director Account Department office of the Accountant General, Mr Ezeh Dominic Ekwueme in his remarks, told the participants to take the training with all seriousness to achieve the policy implementation of the federal government at all levels.
