Kaduna state gubernatorial candidate of People’s  Democratic  Party  (PDP) Rt Hon. Isa M. Ashiru and that of  Labour  Party  Hon. Jonathan Asake has sued for peaceful coexistence among residents of Kaduna State, for development to thrive, stressing that nothing tangible can be achieved in an atmosphere of chaos.

The  two  Governorships candidates stated this in their various  statements to felicitate with the residents of the state on the New Year’s celebration.

Hon. Ashiru urged people of the state to remember that, within them lies the strength and capacity to fashion a new, peaceful State for ourselves and our tomorrow.

He advised  the people that

the experiences of the past should spur them in making the right decision as they go into the election period, and let the new year make them more resolute in creating a new socio-political environment for our State.

Similarly Hon. Asake said what the people of Kaduna need doing more in 2023 is to pray earnestly for God to intervene in the affairs of the state so that they can succeed together.

The Labour Party governorship candidate assured citizens of the state that with good governance, 2023 would be better and advised that people should not sell their votes, but elects leaders that will secure the state and restore hope to everyone.
