The Jigawa North – West Senator elect Alhaji Babangida Hussaini has promised to do all his best and empower Youths in the state.
Alhaji Babangida dropped the hint shortly after meeting with the Gubernatorial candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) Alhaji Umar Namadi.
He said, fighting against drug abuse among the Youths will be part of his priorities through creating more job opportunities for teeming youths.
Hussaini emerged victorious in the just concluded presidential and National Assembly elections held on Saturday after scoring 187,049 votes to defeat Ibrahim Saminu Turaki of PDP who scored 134,199 votes.
The new Senator also urged Jigawa people to come out en masse and vote for Alhaji Umar Namadi as next governor of Jigawa in the forthcoming Gubernatorial election.
He then commended the people of Jigawa North-West for giving him the mandate to serve and also pledged to support the provision of infrastructure in the state.
