Three out of the remaining seven girls of the Federal Government College, Birnin- Yauri, Kebbi State, in captivity of bandits have been released.
The chairman of the parents of the abducted school girls’ forum, Malam Salim Kaoje who disclosed this to newsmen Tuesday stated that the three girls were released to them on Sunday evening by their abductors but they arrived Kebbi on Monday afternoon.
Ka’oje stated further that, “they released three of the school girls to us on Sunday evening, they are already with the State Government.”
It would be recalled that 96 girls of the Federal Government College, Birnin Yauri were abducted by bandits when the school was attacked on 17, June 2021.
With the latest release, four of the girls are still being held by the bandits.
Those released were; Elizabeth Ogechi Nwafor, Esther Sunday and Aliya Abubakar.
