Ahmed Musa donates books, bags to school in Plateau State

In sustaining his charity work to the poor in the society, Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa on Tuesday donated books and school bags to the students of M&S International School in Plateau State
The books and bags which are in their hundreds were given to the students in the presence of the school management.
Musa who was part of the Super Eagles contingent that travelled to Monrovia for the 2023 Arica Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone on Sunday and returned to the country on Sunday night, was in Plateau State to hand over the items to the students.
“(I) Visited one of my newly opened schools today to spread the magic of books and learning! Donated quite a number of textbooks to encourage our leaders of tomorrow,” Musa said on his official Twitter handle.
He appealed for everyone to continue to inspire every parent to see the need to send their children to school.
“It’s incredible how education can shape young minds and empower our future generation. Let’s inspire and encourage every parent out there to prioritize their child’s education! Together, we can create a brighter tomorrow.”
Musa had earlier announced the commencement of the school project last year, saying that he was not unaware of the need to give back to the community that made him.
The Jos-born Super Eagles forward wrote completed the building of the school in 2022 as he explained the rational behind the school “I am not ignorant of the need to give back to my wonderful community and that is why I am excited to announce the commencement of the M & S International School project in Plateau State, Jos South local government Bukuru. Education is the key to success.”

While taking to Instagram on Sunday, October 16, 2022, to announce the completion of the school project, Musa disclosed that the international school which is now fully opened has been named after his parents, Mr Musa and Mrs Sarah.

“I’m proud to name it after my parents. Mr Musa & Mrs Sarah ! M&S international school has now officially opened. Alhamdulillah,” he posted.

The M&S (Musa & Sarah) International School is situated in the Plateau State town of Bukuru in the Jos South LGA.
